Full Service – Lovely straight forward start to the day!

2015 Audi A3

Front and rear brakes reported by another garage. We always like to check first but on this occasion the brake discs were badly corroded and the pads were quite low. Replaced discs and pads all round and gave our customer advice on bedding in the brakes.

2015 VW Passat

Full Service, other than tyre wear nothing to report.

2014 Audi Q7

Full Service, highlighted brake pads were low on the front and rear, client decided to replace them on the day. We also completed an Air Con recharge, which took double the refrigerent because this car has A/C in the rear too.

2010 Audi A4

In for a quick check for a knock on the front resulted in the client leaving the car, N/S front coil spring broken. It can be OK to drive carefully on a broken spring but it depends on the break, and this one had collapsed.

2012 VW Up

Full Service, no reports, all OK.

1991 VW Golf

Natural consequence of age, rust. The straps that hold the fuel tank were deteriorated, we removed them and replaced with new ones. You can’t predict how jobs like this will go, but this one wasn’t bad at all. No snapped bolts, always a bonus!
